People, get ready to witness the most beautiful festival of Jaipur. Teej is an important and the most rejoiced festival of Jaipur. This festival sees a lot of women dressing up in lovely traditional attires and jewellery. They also apply henna on their hands. Everyone gathers in temples where Goddess Parvati is worshipped.
On this day, married women pray for the long life of their husbands while single girls pray for a desirable match. Women usually fast on this day. A number of folk dances, traditional songs and fun-filled activities take place on this day. Everyone just celebrates the immaculate vibe and feeling during this festival in the Pink City.

KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI
Oh wow, you cannot miss this festival when you are in Jaipur. It is not just a festival but an emotion for Jaipurites. Widely famous, Govind Dev Ji temple- The historic Govind Dev Ji temple of Gaudiya Vaishnavism tradition is situated in the City Palace of Jaipur.
The temple is dedicated to Govind Dev Krishna and his consort Radha During this time, thousands of devotees gather in the temple and stay all day and night to immerse in the bhakti of Radha Krishna. People gather in masses and chant for Shri Krishna. This temple is widely known for its Mangala Aarti which happens at 4:00 Am. If you are in Jaipur you cannot miss this auspicious event/festival.

NAHARGARH BIOLOGICAL PARK
I am sure you are also an animal lover because you will miss out on this great place if you don’t visit the famous Nahargarh Biological Park in Kukas, Jaipur. It is a part of the Nahargarh sanctuary is located about 12 km from Jaipur on the Jaipur-Delhi highway. The Park is famous for its vast flora and fauna, and its main aim is to conserve it. The Nahargarh Zoological Park is also worth a visit and houses animals such as Asiatic lions, Bengal tigers, panthers, hyenas, wolves, deer, crocodiles, sloth bear, Himalayan black bear, wild boar, etc.

JHALANA LEOPARD SAFARI
OMG, Did you know that a short distance away from Delhi(260 km) is a small yet incredibly interesting locality, called Jhalana? It is slowly becoming one of the most popular destinations in Jaipur, all thanks to the incredible Jhalana Leopard Safari Park.
The Jhalana Leopard Safari Park is situated within the boundaries of Jhalana, and offers visitors the opportunity to experience guided safari tours to spot leopards and other wildlife in the region. There are 30-35 leopards inside the park and since the total area of the park is quite small as compared to other wildlife parks in India, leopard spotting is relatively easy here.

TICKET PRICE: For morning and evening safaris, a maximum of 6 persons are allowed in one vehicle. For Indians INR 7000 for full vehicle; INR 1350 per person, and for foreigners it is INR 14,000 for full vehicle; INR 2500 per person
For those interested in Half and Full day safari, it is INR 18,000 for half day, and INR 34,000 for full day. For foreigners, it is INR 25,000 for half day, and INR 50,000 for full day.
